Sleep deprivation affects the country with overwhelming force. According to ABC News, more than half of the adult population in America drinks coffee every morning to stay awake. Tylenol.com said high school students are among the most sleep-deprived of the American people. Sixty percent are sleepy during the day, and 30 percent fall asleep during classes.
