The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is an annual event held at Reliant Stadium, after being held at the Astrodome since 1975. It is a popular even, with carnival games and a variety of food, concerts and traditional rodeo events, such as bull riding.

Coach Konicki’s family cannot change the way cancer has affected their lives. However, they have been able to take their experience and use it to positively impact the lives of others.

Somewhere in the English hallway, on March 10 and 11 tryouts were held.  These tryouts were definitely not ordinary.  They included diehard fans who have school spirit no matter what.  These fans are generally called stand leaders but are also know as Collins Crew.

I have never been one to rebel. So in a culture that presents defiance as the typical teenage mindset, it might seem that I have missed out on the full adolescent experience. This is not so.

For years, biologists have cited reason as the trait that separates humans from other animals. Neurologists attribute this divisive quality to a wide range of emotion. Sociologists mention the ability to extensively communicate. But I claim that it is empathy that makes us human.
