On a beautiful October afternoon, after dropping off my little brother at basketball tryouts, I was rushing home. Even though I knew the speed limit on Spring Cypress was 45 mph, my heavy right foot decided to take me 21 mph over the speed limit.

From Feb. 19 to Feb. 21, the marketing club DECA competed at the state level. Out of the 22 members that competed, seven advanced to internationals and three are now alternates.

 
Ashton Kutcher has 4,497,455 followers, Taylor Swift has 2,576,849 followers, 1,700,519 people follow The White House and in the past few weeks. Klein ISD has accumulated 237 followers.

According to Associate Superintendent for Community Relations, Trazanna Moreno, Klein ISD made the decision to become a part of Twitter because it gave a variety of ways to reach people. 

Senior Tyler Simon worked at Hollywood Video earlier in the school year. He would sort all the movies, help customers, clean up and close the store. Even after working tirelessly at Hollywood Video, he still had to go home to finish up homework and study.

In sports like football, basketball and baseball, it only feels natural to root for the home team.  As a proud American, I feel the same way about the Olympic Games.
